It’s hard making a living, even for rappers. Before the chains, cars, and record deals comes the hustle and grind. Just ask Jay-Z or better yet Juicedakidd, a working class rapper doing his 9-5 at an Amazon warehouse. Some of us may be familiar with people sending us links to their SoundCloud, or handing out free CDs or USB drives of their mixtape, but this guy has taken shameless promotion to a whole new level. In a video posted on his Instagram, the rapper is shown putting stickers of his new mixtape “Soul Searching” on Amazon packages at his day job.
“Yes, sir. Real deal promotion. We ain’t done yet. We gon’ tap back in in a minute,” Juice says in the video while slapping stickers on the boxes.
“They might fire me for this,” he admits. “They touch 60,000 packages a day so I need to at least be on 20,000. Who promotion better than this?’
Honestly, the man makes a good point. Can’t knock the hustle.
