A Texas wedding photgrapher was arrested on the job after she allgededly had sex with a guest and then urinated on a tree. Katie Mehta, 26, who goes by the name Max McIntyre for her business and swimsuit modeling career, was taking pictures at a wedding in Weatherford, Texas, when the events unfolded.
According to an arrest report acquired by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, an off-duty sheriff who was providing security at the event was alerted about Mehta’s “inappropriate behavior” by a member of the wedding party. She was reportedly having sex with a man attending the wedding and when the officer asked her to leave, she walked over to a tree and “began to urinate,” according to the report.
The officer also noted that Mehta smelled strongly of alcohol and was in possession of a bottle of alprazolam, a prescription medication commonly known as Xanax used to treat anxiety or panic disorders, which he believed she was mixing with her drinks.
Usually when looking for a wedding photographer, you don't have to ask if they're housebroken. https://t.co/S5k2dyPJAs— KFI AM 640 (@KFIAM640) November 28, 2018
WFAA reported that after her arrest, Mehta became hostile and began yelling threats to officers in the car, such as, “Y’alls daughters are dead,” and “Y’all families will be dead by Christmas!” Now facing charges of public intoxication and a felony charge of obstruction/retaliation, Mehta has declined to to respond to news outlets’ request for comment.
In addition, someone who identified herself as Mehta’s sister told WFAA that the photographer was given spiked drinks while working the wedding, and that she was supposedly approached by two men who tried to “do inappropriate things.” The sister also claimed that after Mehta yelled for help, the situation “got turned around in a negative way.”
