Today’s alternative commute inspiration story comes from a Reddit user named IActuallyLikeSpiders, whose success in switching to a biking commute has allowed him to shed nearly a hundred pounds and become much healthier!
He began by walking into REI and buying himself a bike. From that day on, he rode it recreationally to build up his stamina. Initially, he couldn’t ride more than a few miles, but he persevered. Eventually, he began biking to work, and the results are incredible!
Now, a year later, he has dropped from 253 pounds to 165, and is a much happier and healthier individual. Biking to work might not be for everyone, but his success sure is impressive!
