When Wigan And Leigh culinary student Aaron Merry was fired unceremoniously from his chef job after mentioning he had epilepsy, he experienced what for many of us is a worst-nightmare scenario. Losing one’s job is almost always miserable and can feel invalidating and dehumanizing; especially if the individual is not at fault. But Aaron wasn’t deterred.
