With the advent of the modern Amazon.com model, buying things online has become a breeze. However, returning the things you no longer want has become a chore: first, you need to print out a shipping label, purchase a box, drive to your local post office to ship it out, and then wait for Amazon to process your refund.

Thanks to a partnership between Kohl's and Amazon, this stress is now a thing of the past.

The process is very simple - if a person decides they would like to return one of their orders, they simply have to select a "return to Kohl's" option on the website, download a QR code and show a customer service representative at your local Kohl's. The process is completely free and you don't even have to purchase a box or any other material: all is handles in-house by Kohl's

So why partner? Kohl's executives see the partnership as an opportunity to drive up store traffic, as more and more consumers are ditching the traditional brick-and-mortar retail experience for online retailers. The competitively priced retail giant expects that people will stay in their stores to do a little shopping after they drop off their returns, and Amazon is determined that having a hassle-free return system will make people more comfortable with doing their shopping online.

Do you think this partnership will create a jump in customers for Kohl's? Will it inspire you to do more shopping online with Amazon? Let us know down in the comments!
