Every office is different — some offices are more professional and serious while others are more laid back and friendly. However, no matter what type of environment you find yourself working in, there are certain types of people you will inevitably be working with.
The Office Hottie
The office hottie is always young, attractive and has lots of personality. Part of what makes the office hottie so hot is their flirtatious personality — they have a way of talking to you that makes you feel special.
Little Miss Sunshine
This person tries their hardest to bring some life to the monotony that is the office. They're always happy and cheerful. They're the type of person that always remembers your birthday and never forgets to bring everyone homemade baked goods.
The Chatterbox
There is always that loud mouth individual who just won't shut up. They always seem to have some long annoying story about what they did or ate the night before. They always have an opinion about everything, even when you did not ask.
The Lunch Stealer
Beware of the lunch stealer, because no one's food is safe. No matter what it is you're saving for lunch, the lunch stealer will take it. It doesn't matter if it has your name on it or not — to them it is just a formality.
The Workaholic
The workaholic eats, sleeps and breathes their job. They're usually the first one in the office and the last one out. Even if there's no immediate work deadlines, you can always count on the workaholic to be working late.
The Slacker
In contrast to the workaholic, the slacker tries to do the least amount of work as possible. They often stroll into the office late, unaware of what's going on.
The Passive-Aggressor
Every office has that one person who's nice to your face, but talks sh*t behind your back. This person is always trying to sabotage your standing in the office by purposely removing your name from group reports and email lists. They have no problem betraying you to get ahead.
The Smelly Desk Lunch Eater
From tuna sandwiches to cabbage soup, this person always seems to be eating the most offensive-smelling foods. For some reason, the smell never seems to go away. And what's even worse is smelling their breath every time you talk to them; you can almost taste what they had for lunch.
The Joker
When first meeting the joker, they are the light of the office. They are funny, happy and upbeat. The joker is always making everyone in the office laugh and trying to keep things positive. However, beware: the joker can sometimes cross the line.
The Caffeine Addict
This person is literally addicted to caffeine. They're unable to start their day without a cup of coffee. Every time you pass by their desk, you can always count on seeing a cup of coffee, no matter what time of the day it is.
The Gossip Queen/King
What would the office be without a string of gossip to keep everyone talking? The gossip king or queen is best at facilitating the gossip. Somehow they seem to always be on top of the latest information.
The Narcissists
The narcissist is completely obsessed with themselves and how great they are. Every day they make it a point to say how they woke up early and went on a two mile run or how they're already done with the company project.
